Tonight, Pulp and Circumstance will be out to review Simian Mobile Disco’s gig in The Paradise, their first time back to Boston’s shores since their brilliant 2007 gig with Girl Talk and Dan Deacon, which P&C of course reviewed.
But this go-round, humble blogger is trying something different. Instead of a traditional review, I will “hustle” my ass to twitter the entire event over at my page. So follow me up here. Hashtag for the review is #smd.
If you don’t twitter and don’t get hashtagging, it’s just a way for you to easily search topics. Forget about it. Just follow my twitter page and all the updates will funnel in there, hashtag bidness or no hashtag bidness.
Let’s see how this one goes.
Simian Mobile Disco plays the Paradise Tonight, doors at 7 p.m. The brilliant duo is putting the finishing touches on their second full-length under the mobile moniker; they had an EP squished betwixt, and a remixer record, but that’s no mind. The new as-yet record will drop sometime this year; I’ve already heard a couple tracks, and it’s splendid indeed. Seriously.
