The weather is warming, vaccines are coming in, trees are blooming–nature, is doing what she’s always done. It’s us, that are changed. But the music keeps warming us, just as the sun hits our faces for what feels like the first time in a long, cold year.
Podcast 52 features a ton of new tracks from the likes of Yelle, St. Vincent, Dry Cleaning–and a few oldie sprinkles to remind us what we’ve loved before. It’s just jams that make me feel hopeful or remind me of easier times; like that first drive up to Sedona with Doc all the way back in 2012, or that gig under the baking sun of a midday Coachella set in the early aughts. I hope you feel hopeful, too.
Rigamarole, of course, includes that the podcast is available for streaming and download at mixcloud. And read all about, or wander through past episodes, over here.
Enjoy.
