Fortress of gold…

If you haven’t taken a listen to the latest record from Brooklyn’s Miniature Tigers, this is where you have now been warned and expectations abound.

The quartet’s sophomore record–out 7/27–features a whole lot of roaming synths and delicious melodies; 9 out of 10 tracks were produced by Christopher Chu of The Morning Benders, who I have declared my adoration for in this space before (swoon, drool, pant, you know…oh, and then of course, there’s his music too…but I digress, really)…and they certainly have his delicious hands all over the record. Mind you, the other track by Alan Palamo of Neon Indian/VEGA fame and screams of sexy synths and summer fun.

Do check out the first single, “Gold Skull”, the lone track with Palamo’s hands. It’s certain to be on heavy rotation through these warmer months.
