For some reason this week, humble blogger has managed to get through a pile of work thanks to the constant repeat of The Black Keys latest record, Brothers, which dropped last month.

The blues inspired dup has reached to new depths; the album features a lot more knock and groove thanks, most likely, in part, to the 2009 Blackroc collaboration featuring some of the best mc’s like RZA and Mos Def. What’s more, the first single, “Tighten Up”, displays just that wa-wa groove probably because it was produced by Danger Mouse.
