For the past few months, I’ve been giving this album plenty of proper listens and I’m finally ready to declare, here and now: holy.fucking.delirium. This record, as to be expected, is gorgeous, addictive, and downright meditative.

Axel Willner’s third LP, Looping State of Mind, actually wades into unmarked territory–bits of shoegaze, deep house, and post punk tread upon various tracks, leaving you pleased as punch that he’s left some of his ambient bedroom beats for newer ground.
