While Jack White crushed our souls with the annoucement that the White Stripes–arguably the last truly great and iconic rocks bands–were no the longer, he’s gone and given us a new, fresh gift.

Lending vocals, and presumably some instrumentals, it appears Mr. White is working is inner soul on the latest Danger Mouse project, and all humbe blogger can really do is jump about and squeal like a little girl.

The quite anticipated project Rome (also featuring Daniele Luppi) will drop 3/1. Mr. White has two contributions to date; check out one of those tracks, “Two Against One” of at the Antiquiet.
