New Lefse records artist, Venezuela’s Algodón Egipcio, is creating something hazy, tropical, exotic, fucking gorgeous, indeed.

Egipcio blends traditional guitars with electronics–samples, loops, sonic effects–to create an intriguing blend of pop-driven melody, dance rhythms, and noise. His debut LP, La Lucha Constante, drops 3/22.
