The brilliant Irish label Quarterinch Collective has put out an excellent cassette featuring a whole host of great covers from Irish acts.

One of humble blogger’s favorites is Sacred Animals’ mesmerizingly minimal cover of Twin Shadows’ “Castles In The Snow”, which will in fact be featured on the February edition of the P&C podcast.

But the entire Quompilation #1 is chock full of really delicious covers. It most definitely needs a work around by all of you; you can sample it all over at the Collective, so dust off now and get to it.
