Humble blogger’s interest was peaked at the moment when Black Kids’ bassist Owen Holmes announced a forthcoming EP.
And then, the hits, they came.
Holmes will feature a whole host of brilliant artists on his latest project, called Gospel Music. He’ll score a whole ton of vocal aid from he likes of Soko, Cassie Ramone (Vivian Girls), Magnetic Fields collaborator Shirley Simms, and even Tracyanne Campbell, glorious front woman for Camera Obscura.
The EP, called Duettes, will drop 11/29.
In the meantime, gobble the downright catchy first track “Automobile”, which features the delicious duet betwixt Holmes and Campbell. It’s a match made in heaven.
