It’s a brilliantly beautiful fall day. It’s also Friday, and humble blogger has found Tennis’ recent Daytrotter Session has been perfect accompanyiment to all the aforementioned happiness.

“Pigeon” is haunting yet persuasive and Aliana Moore’s verboding lyrical style seems surprisingly full of delightful wonder on this unreleased track. The four tracks are dripping with fuzz and jangly guitars–and plenty of homage to their sailboat trip around the world.

Moore and husband/bandmate Patrick Riley just announced a deal with Fat Possum, that aims to bring you a Tennis record in January 2011.
