As most of the P&C readers already know, we are embarking on a Summer Playlist Series, inspired by the epic playlist created by Danger Mouse for Vulture/New York Magazine.
Vol. 1–humble blogger’s playlist–was published last Thursday. Vol. 2–Esteban Miguel’s picks, on Saturday; Thom Lau’s list on Sunday….
…and finally! Our newest contributor, MackD, one of humble blogger’s closest pals, is sharing her Summer Mix with you.
And now! It’s onto Vol. 4, the last and final of our exhaustive 100 tune Summer Playlist. MackD has splendid musical tastings–you’ll get a whole pile of indie pop, the sweet cherry on top finish to this whole mixtaping in summer endeavor. As she’ll tell you, it’s inspired by Boston’s sick sick heat wave of late–it needs a gin and tonic and a hammock. You should grab one too (the gin and tonic that is!) and jump in a hammock all the while passing out to this glorious mix.
Don’t forget, you can check out Vol. 1, or Vol. 2, and Vol. 3. Naturally, gobble our newest below.
