As most of the P&C readers already know, we are embarking on a Summer Playlist Series, inspired by the epic playlist created by Danger Mouse for Vulture/New York Magazine.
Vol. 1–humble blogger’s playlist–was published on Thursday. Vol. 2–Esteban Miguel’s picks, was released just yesterday.
And now! It’s onto Vol. 3, by the voice of the P&C monthly podcast, Thom Lau. A brilliant blend of great summery tunes, you’ll get a nice mix of those things Thom loves–sugary indie pop, bits with a bit of a groove, some dashes of instrumental and electro. Anything that boasts The Avalanches, Beirut, Beulah, and RJD2 works wonders for humble blogger, and should thusly, knock your socks off, or at least urge you onto thinking about not wearing any at all. After all, its summer!
The last playlist in our Summer Series–by P&C newest contributor Mack Dunn (who will finally give us a bit more femme at the blog, what with it being humble blogger the only lady folk up to now)–will be made available in the coming days, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, you can check out Vol. 1, or Vol. 2, and of course, naturally, gobble Vol. 3.
