After downright drooling over Danger Mouse’s beyond epic summer playlist, P&C decided to knock its heads together and come up with its own gargantuan list.

Instead of it being the brainchild of one–all four of the P&C contributors gave it a go; each a playlist worthy of 25 tracks, for a total of 100 delicious summer tunes for you to gobble galore.

Each of the playlists will be published here by the contributor who created the mix in the coming days.

First up in the series is humble blogger (yeah, that’s me!). My 25 are funk driven, r&b-soul classic heavy, and experimental pop and electronica gold. It’s kind of a haphazard mix, and to be quite honest, downright nearly impossible to keep to 25 (so many left out!), but there’s always next year…
