If you’re looking for the perfect winter track, might I suggest the latest from British folk songstress Laura Marling.

“Goodbye England (Covered in Snow)”, the first track on her muchly anticipated second LP, was released on December 14 but I’ve finally just given it a listen. It is perfect for a snowstorm or just the scant bit of flurry.

Laura’s sophomore full-length and follow up to the loverly 2008 record Alas, I Cannot Swim, I Speak Because I Can, is due out this March.
