You should head to Daytrotter and check one of last week’s selections, from Avi Buffalo. Why you ask?

There is but one reason you should check out this band: on track “What’s in It For?”, singer Avigdor Zahner-Isenberg croons, “You are tiny and your lips are like little pieces of bacon.”

While there may be plenty of roots-inspired wimp, any mention of bacon product with perk up P&C. Plus, their Daytrotter Session brings a new feel to their tracks, which always peaks interest.

Daytrotter Sessions are recorded up at FutureAppleTree Studio One in Rock Island, Illinois, and features minimal mic-ing. Nothing is overdubbed so its all delicious drool-worthy and raw. Golf claps.
